Initially we thought it would mainly be a “plumbing renovation” and decided to go with a plumbing company who would provide us with a carpenter to do all the other work, including what we thought was a partial replacement of the subfloor. When it came time to remove all the fixtures and the subfloor to do the plumbing rough in, we discovered there had been a fire of some sort the floor/wall beneath the bathroom. The joist work was also questionable. The plumbing company stated they did not want to proceed, as they felt the floor was not structurally sound, and their carpenter said it was beyond his scope. Here we were stuck with a gutted bathroom, half a floor and the plumbing company declining to move forward, as this was beyond their scope, which we completely understood.  Needless to say it was very upsetting for us, as we had no idea how to proceed. We ended up contacting PHS and spoke with Chase and explained the situation to him. Chase came out later in the day.  Chase looked at the bathroom and told us they would be able to help us.  Chase explained how PHS would proceed, regarding  permits and involving a structural engineer. He made arrangements with a structural engineer that they use for projects.  The engineer came out within a week to survey the problem.  This process not only gave us hope, but peace of mind as well - to know that they would “make it right”. Once PHS took over, communication was great - our questions were always answered right away and we were always kept updated. PHS also coordinated with the plumbing company we started with to coordinate their work. Jon the carpenter who worked on our bathroom was great and very easy to communicate with. We are so glad we contacted PHS and they were able to give us a lovely bathroom at the end of the day. Erin M.

These guys completely changed my kitchen (took down the wall from living room to kitchen to have open concept) and main washroom. Also replaced all my flooring through-out the house and installed ceiling speakers in the living room. They had great ideas to what would look nice, pretty much had answers to everything  i asked, was super easy to deal with. Overall great experience i would highly recommend them to anyone.
